MOMS Ministry

St. Benedict’s has begun Ministry Of Mothers Sharing.  It is not a parenting, support, or mom/tot group, but rather a plan that helps mothers gather together, share stories and become enriched spiritually.  It is a prayerful 8 session program that is somewhat flexible in setting to the group of those attending.  We can contact you with the next set of dates and times.  We are looking at one spring and one fall session each year.  If you have a preference of meeting times please let us know when you call.  You can leave a message with MaryAnn, our parish secretary at 275-2480.  Our past sessions have been an amazing experience with wonderful friendships and connections for everyone involved! 

If someone is interested in doing childcare for the mothers who are meeting, please contact Melanie at 275-9843.  Childcare provision is dependant upon volunteers willing to commit to the same 8 sessions.

GROCERY SHOPPING:

Daniel's Sentry Foods will donate 1% of your grocery tape total to St. Benedict through the "Fund For Friends" program supporting non-profit organizations.  Simply request and then place a "Fund for Friends" sticker on the grocery tape - deposit the tape(s) in "Fund For Friends" baskets at each church entrance!

SERVICE STATIONS:

Citgo & Phillips 66—Rollette Oil Co. (Beloit, Fontana, Darien, Janesville) gives back to the community through "Operation Education Program" - 2 cents/gallon.

Please place your receipts in the baskets in the vestibules.
