WHAT WILL K-11 FAITH FORMATION LOOK LIKE AT ST. BENEDICT CHURCH BEGINNING FALL 2025?
Faith Formation is not only for the youth. We are all on a lifelong journey of faith.
With the help and support of the parish community, we will be able to build a
strong foundation for our current youth that will guide them throughout their life.
The relationships that are possible between the parish members and the youth will
be beneficial to everyone. We truly need to be the Body of Christ for everyone
we meet. Simply lend a hand or a listening ear and the reward benefits
everyone’s faith journey.
K-8 Faith Formation Information
*Typical classes will be scheduled the first 3 Sundays of every month. Some dates
will be eliminated due to holidays. The first class will be on Sunday,
September 21.
**Wednesday, September 17 6:00-7:00 pm
Family Pot Luck to Meet Catechists and Visit Classrooms.
Please bring a dish to share. St. Ben’s will provide pizza, table setting,
water and lemonade.
High School/Confirmation Faith Formation Information
*Typical classes will be scheduled the 1st and 3rd Sunday of every month. Each
class will start with Mass at 7:00pm and class will follow with dismissal at 9:00pm.
Some dates will be eliminated due to holidays. There will be class on Sunday,
September 21.
**St. Benedict’s High School/Confirmation Program will grow into a 3-year
program over the next two years. The program will consist of 9th, 10th and 11th
graders. We will work with students currently in 10th & 11th grade to prepare,
and fill in any missing pieces for their preparation for Confirmation, so they will
be able to receive the sacrament as 11th graders. Please sign up your 9th, 10th
and 11th graders for this Preparation Class for Confirmation.
